The St. Louis office of a large international law firm is seeking a highly qualified ERISA / employee benefits attorney to join its Corporate Services Practice Group.

Job Requirements:

- 3 years ERISA/employee benefits experience

- Healthcare/Affordable Care Act experience

- Qualified Plan compliance experience with IRS and Department of Labor

- Multiemployer plans

- Executive compensation/Section 409A

- Benefits in mergers and acquisitions

- Welfare/fringe benefits plans

- Qualified domestic relations orders (“QDROs”)

The ideal candidate will be a high performer who demonstrates superior legal and communication skills; has excellent academic credentials; possesses exceptional interpersonal skills for successful client relationships; is diligent and detail-oriented; is able to work independently but as an effective team player; and shows a strong interest in advancing a career in this practice area with a long-term commitment to a career in a collegial and entrepreneurial law firm environment. Large law firm experience preferred.
